Orion Quality & Compliance Consulting is a consulting firm that provides services to NDIS providers and participants across Victoria. At Orion, we help ensure that new and existing NDIS providers comply with applicable legislative requirements as outlined by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. We ensure that your organisation is meeting applicable legislation, rules, and policies including the NDIS Act 2013 and the NDIS Practice Standards. We also offer services for ISO9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems to NDIS providers who want to raise the bar to a higher level.

Bernard Machivenyika
Director / Consultant / Lead Auditor
Bernard is the director and brainchild of Orion Quality & Compliance Consulting. Prior to forming Orion, Bernard held various positions with the NDIA, DHHS and Monash Health and a 10-year career in the banking industry. Due to Bernard’s unparalleled skills, experience & knowledge, it places him in a favourable position to lead the team and provide strategic direction. Bernard is committed to working collaboratively with clients and has a long history of successfully supporting organizations, groups, and individuals to achieve their goals. He is skilled at leading teams to prepare for audits and has achieved numerous accreditation outcomes. Outside of work, Bernard enjoys spending time with family & friends. Bernard holds the following qualifications:

John Machivenyika
Consultant / Auditor
After a 30-year thriving career as a Commodity Trader, John took a career change to work in the community services sector. Prior to joining us, John held the position of Head of Marketing & Ginning with a Cotton processing firm in Southern Africa. He later migrated to Australia in 2014. John brings a wealth of managerial expertise and other transferrable skills. He is an integral part of the compliance team that ensures our internal procedures & compliance documents i.e. NDIS /Aged Care Polices are up-to-date. John is an accredited Quality Auditor (ISO9000), holds a Bachelor of Community & Human Services (Federation University) and is pursuing a Master of Public Health with University of Technology (Sydney).
